Canadian Solar to Sell 81MW Solar Modules to Saferay

Canadian Solar has signed an agreement with Saferay to sell 81MW of solar modules at a fixed price for projects in Germany. Delivery of the modules has already commenced and the company is expected to deliver the whole 81MW of solar modules before the end of third quarter 2011.

Saferay CEO Marko Schulz said Canadian Solar came out on top of its selection criteria, including quality, reliability, customer service and brand attractiveness to customers.

Canadian Solar Chairman and CEO Shawn Qu added, "We continue to expand our presence in the largest, most established solar markets, like Germany, while also building our leadership in developing markets."
