Greengate and Vestas Sign Turbine Supply Agreement

Greengate Power has signed two agreements with Vestas-Canadian Wind Technology for its 300MW Blackspring Ridge I Wind Project in Alberta, Canada. Vestas will supply 166 V90-1.8MW wind turbines for the project, under the turbine supply and long-term service and maintenance agreement.

Vestas will supply 166 V90-1.8MW wind turbines for the project, under the turbine supply and long-term service and maintenance agreement.

The company will also provide scheduled and unscheduled service and maintenance for the Vestas turbines installed in the plant at a predetermined cost for ten years.

Greengate Power plans to commence the construction on the plant in 2012 and start commercial operations by 2013.

Vestas will start the delivery of the wind turbines in the third quarter of 2012.
