Suzlon Wins EPC Contract for Turbine Supply in Canada

Suzlon Wind Energy has secured an engineering, procurement and construction contract from Sprott Power to supply 31.5MW of wind turbines. Under the contract, Suzlon will install 15 S9X-2.1MW turbines at Sprott Power's new wind project being constructed at Nova Scotia, Canada.

Suzlon Wind Energy has secured an engineering, procurement and construction contract from Sprott Power to supply 31.5MW of wind turbines.

Under the contract, Suzlon will install 15 S9X-2.1MW turbines at Sprott Power's new wind project being constructed at Nova Scotia, Canada.

Under a ten-year warranty, maintenance and service agreement, Suzlon will provide operation and maintenance services for the project.

Construction of the project is expected to be complete in March 2012.

Upon completion, the plant will be capable of generating energy sufficient to power 11,000 Canadian homes.
