Doosan Gains Equipment Order from Mapna Boiler

Korean power equipment manufacturer Doosan Heavy Industries has finalised a deal with Iranian company Mapna Boiler to supply heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) to four combined cycle power plants, the company has announced.

As part of the deal Doosan will supply equipment worth €74m to Mapna Boiler between April 2010 and December 2010. The deal includes a power plant located in Iran’s Kahnooj region.

In order to develop the pre-existing obsolete power plants, Iran is quickly building CCPP, said Doosan.
