Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating (KEGOC) is seeking bids to help build a transmission line and carry out substation work for 300MW Moinak hydroelectric project.
The Moinak hydroelectric project is located on Charyn River, Kazakhstan and work will include building transmission lines, including a 220kV Moinak-Sary-Ozek overhead line, a 220kV Moinak-Shelek line and a 220kV line at Sary-Ozek substation.
The extension and upgrading at the substation, including 220/110kV outdoor switchgear construction at the Moinak hydro plant will also come under work to be tendered out.
KEGOC said it hopes to receive $48m in funding for the project from the World Bank.
