Power Company WorleyParsons has cemented a consultancy deal with the Egyptian Nuclear Power Plant Authority (NPPA) to help deliver the first Egyptian nuclear power plant.
The contract commences with site and technology selection studies and extends to cover design, construction management, commissioning and start-up, the company said.
The revenue from the project is expected to total around EGP900 million over the expected eight years of the project.
The project will be led from WorleyParsons’ office in Sofia, Bulgaria and supported locally by its office in Cairo.
