Sungdong Receives Tanker Order

South Korea's Sungdong Shipbuilding has received its second Suezmax tanker order in a month. The contract, from an unidentified European company, includes two 158,000dwt Suezmax tankers worth $70m each. The two ships are scheduled for delivery in the last quarter of 2009.

Sundong received its first order earlier in July when Greek company Tsakos Energy Navigation requested two Suezmaxes.
