Areva Signs Spanish Nuclear Deal

French engineering giant Areva has signed a six-year contract with Spain's Central Nuclear de Trillo to supply 240 fuel assemblies and carry out services at a nuclear reactor in Spain. The company will carry out work at the CNT 1 reactor, located in Guadalajara, Spain from 2010 onwards.

French engineering giant Areva has signed a six-year contract with Spain's Central Nuclear de Trillo to supply 240 fuel assemblies and carry out services at a nuclear reactor in Spain.

The company will carry out work at the CNT 1 reactor, located in Guadalajara, Spain from 2010 onwards.

Areva has so far delivered more than 1,100 fuel assemblies since the reactor was commissioned in 1998.
