NF Energy Saving Corporation said it will supply energy efficient flow control systems for Shanghai's largest gas-fired power plant project.

The $800m power project will have an installed capacity of 1,600MW comprising four gas-steam combined cycle units.

The completion of the plant is expected to help China’s financial hub to meet growing electricity demand and optimise power structure.

The flow control valves are scheduled for delivery in May 2010.
