Duke Wind Project Underway

US-based Duke Energy says that it has begun electricity generation at the 99MW Campbell Hill Wind Power Project near Wyoming. The 66 wind turbines produce enough electricity to power about 30,000 homes annually, according to Duke Energy. The project supplies power to PacifiCo

US-based Duke Energy says that it has begun electricity generation at the 99MW Campbell Hill Wind Power Project near Wyoming.

The 66 wind turbines produce enough electricity to power about 30,000 homes annually, according to Duke Energy.

The project supplies power to PacifiCorp under a 20-year power purchase agreement.

On completion of Campbell project, Duke Energy's wind power generation capacity stands at 733MW.
