OPDE Seals Spanish Solar Deal

Spanish solar company OPDE has closed a deal to install two solar photovoltaic (PV) plants with a combined capacity of 22MW in Spain. The project includes two 11MW plants in Navarra and Valladolid. OPDE signed the $143m project finance deal with investment banks Banco Santande

Spanish solar company OPDE has closed a deal to install two solar photovoltaic (PV) plants with a combined capacity of 22MW in Spain.

The project includes two 11MW plants in Navarra and Valladolid.

OPDE signed the $143m project finance deal with investment banks Banco Santander, La Caixa and BBVA.

In 2009 OPDE built more than 28MW in solar plants and plans to add 20MW in 2010.
