Energy services company Wood Group (John Wood Group) has won multiple ten-year contracts to maintain and manage three wind power generation projects in Texas and New Mexico.
The deals, owned by subsidiaries of Cielo Wind Power, cover three Vestas V-47 660kW wind turbines at Texico and three Samsung Heavy Industries 2.5MW wind turbines at Lubbock.
The completed development project will have approximately 34 wind turbines of 2MW or more output each, Wood Group said in a statement.
Cielo has planned projects amounting to about 4,000MW.
