A turbine wind farm development in Essex, England, has been given the go-ahead after a second public inquiry, operator RWE has announced.

The wind farm, which will comprise ten turbines with a height of up to 121m, will generate 15MW to 25MW of power without CO2 emissions.

The wind farm has been opposed by local environmental groups but RWE said Bradwell-on-Sea is a suitable location for the farm, which when built will make a valuable contribution to UK renewable energy targets.
