Siemens Energy said it has received an order from the Netherlands for turnkey construction of a combined cycle power plant.

Dutch utility Nuon, a subsidiary of Vattenfall, will buy the 435MW Hemweg 9 plant.

The plant will supply eco-friendly power to more than 750,000 Dutch households.

Commercial operation is due to start in 2012.
