Denmark wind giant Vestas has won four wind turbine orders from a Chinese independent power producer, totalling 98MW.
The orders consist of 116 units of V52-850kW turbines and 50 units of V90-1.8/2.0MW turbines for the Guangdong and Shandong provinces, respectively.
The orders include wind turbine delivery, transportation, installation and commissioning, a VestasOnline business SCADA system as well as a five-year service and maintenance agreement.
Delivery of the turbines is scheduled to start during the second and third quarters of this year.
Last December, Vestas accumulated an installed capacity of more than 2,000MW in China. The company installed its first wind turbine in China in 1986.
