US Postal Service Installs GridPoint Sotfware

Smart energy solutions provider GridPoint will install energy management systems for the United States Postal Service (USPS). The systems will ensure the USPS can track and manage energy consumption and reduce operating costs across multi-site facility networks, the company said.

The systems will ensure the USPS can track and manage energy consumption and reduce operating costs across multi-site facility networks, the company said.

Under the three-year contract, the firm can install energy management devices in up to 2,250 USPS locations across the country.

GridPoint is part of a goal by the Postal Service to reduce facility energy use by 30% by 2015.
