Montana-Dakota Wind Farms Start Operation

Two wind farms operated by US-based Montana-Dakota Utilities, with a total generation capacity of 30MW, have come online.

The utility has unveiled the 19.5MW Cedar Hills wind farm with 13 turbines in southwest North Dakota.

Montana-Dakota Utilities said it has also expanded its Diamond Willow wind facility by 10.5MW.

Seven additional wind turbines have been added to Diamond Willow under the expansion project.
