Dubai Electricity Awards Contracts

The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority has awarded AED522m ($142m) in contracts to expand facilities, including the Jebel Ali power station. Ansaldo Energia won a contract worth AED450m ($122m) to provide parts and services for the Jebel Ali power station, according to Bloomberg.

The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority has awarded AED522m ($142m) in contracts to expand facilities, including the Jebel Ali power station.

Ansaldo Energia won a contract worth AED450m ($122m) to provide parts and services for the Jebel Ali power station, according to Bloomberg.

The contract is valid for a period of ten years.

ABB also won contracts valued at AED70m ($19m) and Areva received orders worth AED2.5m ($0.6m).
