Phoenix Solar to Build Solar Farm in Italy

Phoenix Solar will build a 3.5MW solar ground-mounted photovoltaic plant in Borgo Piave in the Lazio region of Italy for Etrion.

Phoenix Solar will plan and develop the plant and when fully commissioned, it will also provide Etrion with operation and maintenance services.

Trina Solar crystalline solar modules and SMA inverters will be used for the plant and work will begin in August 2010 to be connected to the grid by the end of the year.

The plant will generate and supply approximately 5 million kwh per year of electricity to the grid.
