Solarfun Power has entered into two contracts to supply photovoltaic modules for projects totalling 12MW in Italy.

Solarfun will supply 6MW of PV modules to GranSolarGhella in southern Italy and delivery is due in the second half of 2010.

In addition, Tozzi Renewable Energy has ordered the firm to supply 6MW modules to Central Italy, expected to be supplied during the third quarter of 2010.

Solarfun vice-president and managing director of EMEA, Andreas Liebheit, said that Italy is the third largest solar power generation market in Europe and that the company has already begun a number of installations in the country.
