Gamesa to Supply 1,315MW in Wind Turbines to China

Gamesa has signed strategic agreements with China's Guangdong Nuclear Wind and Datang Renewable Power to develop and supply 1315.3MW of wind capacity between 2010 and 2013.

Under the agreements, Gamesa will supply its Gamesa G8X-2.0MW and G5X-850KW turbine systems.

Gamesa and Guangdong will jointly develop and build wind farms with a total capacity of 576MW in the province of Liaoning and another 450MW in Heilongjiang, where it will also install the G8X-2.0 MW turbines, which will be manufactured at its plants in China.

With Datang Renewable Power, Gamesa will develop and build another 289.5MW in Liaoning, where Gamesa will install both its G8X-2.0MW and G5X-850KW wind turbines.
