The countries will cooperate on the establishment of power plants, development of nuclear power technology and atomic power use, according to Xinhuanet.com.
South Africa’s energy minister Dipuo Peters and South Korea’s acting foriegn minister signed the agreement.
South Korea is aiming to develop 12 reactors by 2022, while South Africa has plans to build nuclear power reactors by 2024.
