REDSET awards supply contract to Canadian Solar Australia

Canadian Solar Australia, a wholly owned subsidiary of Canadian Solar, has signed a supply agreement with Australian solar products distribution company REDSET.

Canadian Solar Australia, a wholly owned subsidiary of Canadian Solar, has signed a supply agreement with Australian solar products distribution company REDSET.

Under the solar module supply agreement, Canadian Solar will deliver over 20MW per year to REDSET to power a range of commercial and residential installations in Australia.

REDSET, which serves a network of over 1,000 licensed installers across the country, has warehouses in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Townsville.

Canadian Solar Australia general manager Rod Seares said: "With each state and territory setting their own feed-in tariffs and with different approaches to solar power legislation, it's important to work with a company that understands local market conditions."
