Arise Windpower and Platina Partners have closed financing of €336m to fund the development of a 200MW Jädraås wind farm in Sweden.
Financing for the project was also secured from DNBNor, Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken and the Danish Government-backed EKF.
The facility, to be built in two phases, is expected to be one of the largest onshore wind farms in Europe.
In the first phase, the company will begin construction of the first 130MW in the next few weeks.
The project, which will be equipped with 66 Vestas V112-3.0MW wind turbines, will commence operations in 2013.
