Description

The project was developed by Actividades de Construccion y Servicios and Cobra Gestion De Infraestructuras SLU. The project is currently owned by San Pedro Bio-Energy.

The electricitiy generated from the plant has offsetted 80,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Bagasse which is a kind of agricultural by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.

The project consists of 1 turbine with 30MW nameplate capacity.
