Filasa International is planning to build wind power stations with a total capacity of 1.6GW in Ukraine by the middle of 2016.

As per the plan, the firm intends to construct the Tylyhulska wind power station with a capacity of 500MW in the Berezansky district in Mykolaiv region, according to Interfax-Ukraine.

Filasa also plans to build five stations in Crimea including a 100MW Soniachna Dolyna station, plants in Bakhchysaray, Turhenevska and Kholmohorska of 200MW capacity each and a 400MW station in the Pervomaisky district.

According to the firm, the cost of building 1MW of a wind power station is about €1.5m ($1.96m), which amounts to €2.4bn ($3.13bn) of investments for its Ukrainian wind projects.
