9REN has been awarded a contract by Helios (OTT Group) for the construction of a 1MW photovoltaic plant in the province of Trapani, Sicily, Italy.

Under the contract, 9REN will be responsible for the engineering, development, project management, supply of material, assembly and construction of the plant, connection to the medium voltage system, and monitoring system.

The company plans to install 4,221 units in the plant, which will be set into a frame structure without needing a foundation.

EOSystem, a copyright software of 9REN, will be implemented to monitor production of the plant.
