Nuclear Power Corporation of India is currently testing all operational phases at the plant and the review has been submitted to the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB), reports thehindu.com.
The unit will use Russian technology and fuel.
Commercial operations will begin once it receives final approval from the AERB.
