A leak at the storage tank employed to cool the reactors at the Fukushima nuclear plant in Japan, has now been repaired by the plant operator Tokyo Electric Power (TEPCO).
TEPCO discovered a leak of 15t of radioactive water into the ground from a storage tank at the quake-hit plant, according to the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency.
The operator is still investigating the cause of the leak, reports Reuters.
TEPCO has so far faced problems in employing a decontamination system for removing and recycling the contaminated water.
