Kelson Energy has signed a definitive agreement to sell its Magnolia combined cycle gas (CCG) plant in Mississippi, US, to Tennessee Valley Authority for an undisclosed sum.

The 968MW Magnolia CCG plant is a fully permitted generating facility connected to the TVA grid.

However, closing of the transaction is subject to various conditions and required regulatory approvals.
