San Diego Gas & Electric has signed two power purchase agreements totalling 190MW for two solar projects to be built in California, US.

The company signed a 25-year PPA for 150MW of solar power with Solar Gen 2 and a one-year PPA with Silicon Valley Power for 40MW of geothermal power.

Solar Gen 2’s 150MW solar plant will be constructed in three phases of 50MW, each using solar photovoltaic panels with single-axis tracking.
