SolFocus has unveiled its new concentrator photovoltaic (CPV) solution, SF-1136SX.

The new solution is designed to produce more energy than other solar arrays and reduces installation time by 50%, resulting in decreased costs.

Each SF-1136SX is capable of producing 15.6kWp DC and is sized for minimal impact from the wind and reduced touch-points in the field.

The new solution, based on the company’s SF-1100P concentrator panel, is expected to be deployed in the fourth quarter of this year.
