Italy-based renewable energy company Enel Green Power (EGP) has built an 18MW wind farm in France’s Rhone Alpes region.
The plant will generate a capacity of 50 million kilowatt hours of power annually and can accommodate the power needs of 15,000 households.
In addition, the plant will raise EGP’s total installed wind power capacity in the nation to 166MW.
EGP has a total of 620 plants in operation globally and its installed capacity exceeds 6,100MW, reports Reuters.
