Enbridge and Renewable Energy Systems Canada, a unit of RES Americas, will jointly build and own a 99MW wind farm on the shore of Lake Superior in Ontario, Canada.
Both companies will invest a total of C$275m ($270.8m) in the Greenwich Wind Energy Project.
The farm will use 43 Siemens SWT-2-3-101 2.3MW wind turbines.
The wind farm is expected to be complete by 2011.
As part of the agreement, RES Canada will build the farm under a turnkey, engineering, procurement and construction agreement.
Siemens will provide operations and maintenance services for the wind turbines under a five-year agreement.
