Energy giant E.ON has appointed Jonas Abrahamsson as the chief executive of E.ON Nordic.

Mr Abrahamsson will leave his current role as CFO of E.ON Energy Trading, based in Düsseldorf, to take up his new position, the company said in a statment.

E.ON Nordic’s CFO Christopher Delbrück will replace Mr Abrahamsson at E.ON Energy Trading. Meanwhile, E.ON Nordic’s head of controlling and finance, Marc Hoffmann, will step up as Nordic’s CFO.

All three management changes are effective from 1 July 2010.
