Apollo Solar Energy and China Energy Conservation Solar Energy Technologies (CECS) have signed a non-binding collaboration agreement to build scaled thin-film solar power stations.
Under the agreement, Apollo Solar will provide CECS with thin-film solar panels on a long-term basis for use in thin scaled film solar power stations and photovoltaic grid-connected systems.
The firms will also jointly build thin scaled film solar power stations and CECS will acquire thin film solar power stations built independently by Apollo Solar through separate financing and technology.
Apollo Solar CEO Renyi Hou said that energy sources including wind and solar energy will capture a 20% share of nationwide energy demand in China by 2020.
