EON has completed the installation of wind turbines at the Roedsand 2 offshore wind park in Denmark.
The 207MW Danish wind farm will reach full capacity in August.
The facility installed Siemens AG turbines at a rate of about one a day and the majority now supply power to the Danish grid, according to the head of E.ON’s renewable power division Frank Mastiaux, talking to Bloomberg.
In 2006, E.ON won a government tender to build the wind farm with Dong Energy, which later sold its 80% stake in the project to E.ON.
