A-Power Energy Generation Systems has been awarded a CNY242m ($36m) contract to build thermal power plant projects in Liancheng, China.

Under the EPC contract, A-Power will to build two 12MW and two 75t/h power plant projects.

Liaoning Hi-tech Energy Group, an A-Power subsidiary will be responsible for all the planning, engineering, and construction within the power stations, as per the contract.

A-Power provides distributed power generation systems in China and is expanding into the production of alternative power generation systems.
