EDF Energies Nouvelles has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Pacific Gas and Electric Company to generate power from the Shiloh III wind farm.

Under the agreement, EDF will supply up to 100MW of power from the wind facility to be built in California, US, by enXco, an EDF Energies Nouvelles subsidiary.

The project follows the 150MW Shiloh II wind facility, commissioned in 2009.

The PPA related to the Shiloh III wind project is subject to the approval from the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).
