Green power company E.ON has completed the development and connection of its newest wind farm at Haswell Moor in County Durham, UK.
The wind farm houses five 2MW turbines that measure 110m tall and will generate electricity for about 5,500 homes each year.
E.ON’s construction project manager Richard Couzens said that all five wind turbines are now up and running and producing electricity.
The wind farm will eliminate about 11,0002t of CO2 emissions every year of its operational life.
