Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) will purchase the annual output of the 200MW wind farm to be built and operated by Enel Green Power in Kansas, US.

Enel will purchase the Caney River Wind Project from TradeWind Energy, its development partner.

TradeWind and ENA plan to erect wind turbines on nearly 14,000 acres in west central Elk County.

The project is expected to cost about $350m and the facility is expected to begin commercial operation in 2011.
