Alstom will build a new gas-fired combined cycle power plant for Tuas Power Generation (TPG) in Singapore.
The €260m ($365m) order includes an EPC contract for the new 400MW gas-fired plant, along with a six-year maintenance contract.
Alstom will provide all associated equipment, including a GT26 gas turbine, steam turbine and heat recovery steam generator.
The firm will complete the CCP5 in 2014 and will enable TPG to improve the overall electricity generating efficiency of its plant portfolio.
