Spain-based Isolux Corsan has built the UK’s largest solar power plants in Cornwall, the company has announced.
Under the engineering, procurement and construction contract, Isolux constructed the three power plants within ten weeks, at an estimated cost of €40m.
The solar plants, operational since mid July this year, are equipped with 22,000 crystalline modules set on fixed arrays, each with 5MW installed capacity.
Banco Santander and a local partner provided finance for the development.
