Global provider of photovoltaic (PV) modules, solutions, and services Trina Solar has delivered 8.8MW of PV modules to Citus Power for the Yahyali solarpower plant.
This plant was connected to the grid in August 2016 and is estimated to generate 12,500MWh of electricity annually, powering 2,000 homes in the region.
Approximately, 33,800 Trina Solar multi-crystalline 260W 60-cell Honey modules have been installed to power the plant, which is one of the 10 largest solar projects in Turkey.

The Yahyaliplant is located in Kayseri province in Central Anatolia and is spread across 40 acres of land, which has been developed by Citus Power.

The solar project is financed by the TürkiyeFinans Participation Bank. Its planning phase started in late 2014, and Citus gained the approval from TEDAS (Turkey Electricity Distribution Company) in 2015. Citus Power has also assumed the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) role for the project.
