The project is being developed by Algonquin Power & Utilities. The project is co-owned by Algonquin Power & Utilities and Others, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the St-Damase – Algonquin (St-Damase – Algonquin Phase 1) will be sold to Hydro-Quebec under a power purchase agreement. The power will be sold at the rate of $0.098kWh for a period of 20.00 years, starting from 2014.

Contractors involved

St-Damase – Algonquin (St-Damase – Algonquin Phase 1) will be equipped with Enercon E-92 / 2,350 kW turbines. The phase consists of 10 turbines with 2.35MW nameplate capacity.

Enercon is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the St-Damase – Algonquin (St-Damase – Algonquin Phase 1). The operation and maintenance contract tenure will likely be commencing from 2014, for a period of 15 years.
