The facility will be equipped with 555,600 solar PV modules and generate 560GWh of electricity a year.
The deals for both platforms are expected to close before the end of this year.
The project will generate 750 million units of electricity a year once operational.
The project will supply 3.6GW of clean energy to the UK for an average of 20 hours a day.
The pre-developed project covers around 120 hectares and is expected to be construction-ready next year.
The projects are expected to come online by the end of 2024 and will require a €750m ($783m) total investment.
The developer will hold a 40% stake in the project, with the Abu Dhabi Government owning the remaining 60%.
