Description
The project is currently owned by Ratnagiri Gas and Power.
It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant. The fuel is procured from Dahej-Panvel-Dabhol Pipeline; GAIL.
The project cost is $1,789.98m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in 1997.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Ministry of Railways, India under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.084kWh for a period of 5 years, starting from 2017. The contracted capacity is 500MW.
