Description

The project was developed by Essel Urja. The project is co-owned by Adani Green Energy and Total Solar Singapore, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

Essel Infra Jalaun Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 250 acres.

The project generates 85,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 25,000 households. The project cost is $66.316m.

The project got commissioned in January 2015.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Uttar Pradesh Power under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.152kWh for a period of 12 years, starting from 2015. The contracted capacity is 50MW.

Rays Power Infra was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
