Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Veolia Environmental Services (UK).

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 75,000 households, to offset 65,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $171.812m.

Refuse which is a kind of municipal solid waste will be used as a feedstock to power the project.

The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.
