Description
The project is currently owned by Hanwha Energy.
It is a Steam Turbine with Cogen power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is bituminous coal. In case of shortage of bituminous coal the plant can also run on Liquified Natural Gas.
The project cost is $225.28m.
The Coal fired project consists of 2 steam turbines, each with 125MW nameplate capacity.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in February 2010.
Contractors Involved
Hanwha Engineering & Construction was selected to render EPC services for the coal fired power project.
Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering supplied steam boiler for the project.
